Thank you for stopping by supportforsoldiers.org it really means a lot that you have taken the time to look into helping soldiers get the everyday items they need but have no access to. Did you know, once deployed oversees, some soldiers lack the ability to get things like pillows and blankets on base? Sure they are given sleeping bags and cots but that cannot be that comfortable. Now do not get me wrong I am not blaming the government for this, I know they have our soldiers best interests in mind and if they were able to give them every amenity of home they would. But the fact is that just is not possible.
That is where we come in. we the civilians that enjoy the freedom and liberty defended by our American soldier, some even paying with their lives. It doesn’t take much to make a soldier’s stay more comfortable or to brighten their spirits. A small donation, a hand written letter, a goodie box from the states (see list of allowed items). Whether you know the soldier that receives your help or they are a total stranger we know they will appreciate it. You could even make a lifelong friend.
